Backup Data

This function creates a backup file of your AMS data. A zip file will be created on your computer, based on the installation location of AMS. An example of a location for this file is: C:\Users\Public\AMSTAC\LocaldataArchiveZips\AMS4Backups_2015-07-01T163320.zip

To create a backup:

1. Select Data Maintenance and Backup Data.
2. A message will appear, asking you to select the type of backup. Select from Full Backup, Lookup Tables, or Addresses Only.
3. Your backup file will be created. A message will appear once the process is complete.
