Reports
This menu allows you to print or share reports that show how your warehouse is operating. This can be helpful when you need
to look for something specific or show a supervisor an overview of your operations. You can quickly choose a report for a specific
day, week, or month. You can also customize a report to find exactly what you need.
- Daily - This allows you to quickly pull up a report showing you everything for that day. Select
Day Report and use the calendar to choose the day of the report. The screen will update to show you the
totals for that day. Select Print to print out the report or Email to attach
a .pdf and .xml copy of the report to an email (using your Windows default email program).
- Weekly - This allows you to quickly pull up a report showing you everything for a selected week. Select
Week Report and use the calendar to choose the week of the report. The screen will update to show you the
totals for that week. Select Print to print out the report or Email to attach
a .pdf and .xml copy of the report to an email (using your Windows default email program).
- Monthly - This allows you to quickly pull up a report showing you everything for a selected month. Select
Month Report and use the calendar to choose the month of the report. The screen will update to show you the
totals for that month. Select Print to print out the report or Email to attach
a .pdf and .xml copy of the report to an email (using your Windows default email program).
- Customized report - This allows you to completely customize a report to highlight the information that
you need. You can use the options to create a report based on any virtually any information in AMS that is important to
you. This can be used to see which items still need to be dispatched, or how many items were sent to a particular site. You
can experiment with the options to find which information is useful to you. To create a customized report:
- Select the Customized icon.
- Select a date range. A calendar will appear when you double click on the From Date and To Date fields.
- Choose the main topic for your report, using the drop down menu next to the What are you looking
for? field. For example, selecting Outbound Containers will only show items that you shipped.
- Group Data By? allows you to choose how the data shows up on the report in sections.
For example, if you group data by Consignee, it will put everything on the report by the consignee into a
section, so you can see who you received items for.
- Sort Data By? allows you decide how each section is listed, so if you choose TCN, it
will list each item by the TCN number.
- The Select additional filtering criteria? is optional, but if you select Yes, then you can
further narrow this report down by only the details that matter to you. For example, if you only want to see
inbound items that were received by truck, then you would choose Inbound Source and then Truck. This can be
really helpful in filtering out the data that you don't need, so that your report is precise.
- Once you have finished adjusting your settings, you may select Print to print out the report
or Email to attach a .pdf and .xml copy of the report to an email (using your Windows
default email program).
- COM report - This allows you to view a report showing the data that was sent from AMS to other
servers. To do this:
- Select the COM icon.
- Choose the main topic for your report, using the drop down menu next to the What are you looking
for? field. For example, selecting IGC will show a report of data sent to the IGC server.
- Select a date range. A calendar will appear when you double click on the From Date and To Date fields.
- Once you have finished adjusting your settings, you may select Print to print out the report
or Email to attach a .pdf and .xml copy of the report to an email (using your Windows
default email program).
